Global communications company OneWeb are on a mission to bridge the digital divide and bring internet connectivity to everyone, everywhere. With the ultimate aim of a constellation of 900 satellites in orbit around the earth, OneWeb partnered with us for ideas to help them make the scope and wonder of their ambitious project tangible for the launch of the first six satellites - Therefore we made a 3D interactive desonstration website, and we called it the “Making tangible the beauty of a truly connected world”.
Some standout aspects of this experience include creating an atmospheric shader for Earth and optimizing a complex CAD model of a satellite for web use - View the site here.
