Fengyi Zhu is a New York-based designer currently working at Moving Brands.

With a background in creative technology and a proven track record working in multidisciplinary creative consultancy, Fengyi’s work spans communication and product development. His experience includes designing brands and brand experiences, conceptualizing campaigns, and prototyping visuals and motion to enhance user interactions within interfaces. A specialist in 3D design methodologies, Fengyi also draws from industrial design to bring a sense of physical tangibility and depth to his creative approach.

Refusing to be constrained by a single discipline or defined way of working, Fengyi’s practice also encompasses furniture design, fine art, fashion and production. He co-founded art studio Manifold and brings a distinctly sculptural approach to the art of furniture design, and co-founded tenttent, a venture that creates clothes and accessories, curating an unique lifestyle that celebrates music, sports, the outdoors, and craftsmanship.
